'Maybe Man Utd is too big for Mourinho!?' - Keane

Manchester United great Roy Keane questioned whether his former club is perhaps "too big" for manager Jose Mourinho.

Despite reaching the Europa League quarter-finals with a 1-0 win over Rostov on Thursday, Mourinho moaned about United's busy run of fixtures and claimed his squad was struggling with fatigue. Keane, a former captain and seven-time Premier League winner at United, was furious with Mourinho, saying the Portuguese tactician needed to embrace the demands of managing at Old Trafford.

"He's manager of Manchester United, one of the biggest clubs on the planet, the squad he's got, the players and he keeps moaning about fixtures and fatigue. "I've never heard so much rubbish in my life. Maybe the club is too big for him, he can't deal with all these demands at the match. What matches? Man United reserves could've won that game," the Irishman told ITV.

Issa Hayatou deposed after 29 years as Caf president by Ahmad Ahmad

Issa Hayatou, president of the Confederation of African Football (Caf) for an era spanning 29 years and a senior administrator at Fifa throughout its years of corruption scandals, has finally been deposed, suffering defeat in Caf’s presidential election.

Hayatou, a former teacher and sports minister from Cameroon who was first elected as the Caf president in 1988 and became a member of the Fifa executive committee two years later, lost decisively in the vote at Caf’s congress in Addis Ababa, 34-20 to Ahmad Ahmad, the president of the Madagascar Football Association.

Ahmad will replace him on Fifa’s governing council, so the election signals the departure of another long-term fixture from world football’s governing body’s executive committee, one which overlapped with the 17-year presidency of Sepp Blatter.

Barcelona want Verratti & Bellerin this summer

Barcelona have set their sights on Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti and Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin as they look to rebuild their squad this summer, according to reports.

Verratti pledged his future to PSG after that match, but Unai Emery's side lost the return 6-1 to crash out of the Champions League and the Italian international was upset at newspaper reports claiming he had partied ahead of the team's European exit.

If Bellerin is unavailable or too expensive, Barca will consider signing Valencia's Joao Cancelo, while the Catalans are also keeping tabs on Bayern's Joshua Kimmich, who said recently that he could leave the Allianz Arena if he is not given more opportunities by coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Barca have also a deal agreed for Colombia defender Yerry Mina and will look to further strengthen their back line this summer, but Verratti and Bellerin will be the club's top targets and they will now wait to see whether PSG and Arsenal are prepared to negotiate for those two players.
